Prosecutors argue that jurors should hear evidence of Harvey Weinstein's alleged past conduct for which he isn’t on trial

New York state prosecutors argued the jury in Harvey Weinstein’s approaching trial should hear evidence of the disgraced producer’s alleged bad acts and uncharged crimes.

The arguments themselves took place on Friday in a courtroom closed to the public and press. But the request to admit such evidence, discussed broadly before the courtroom was sealed, offered a glimpse into prosecutors’ strategy as Mr. Weinstein’s case moves toward its September trial.
