A Hartville man was arrested last week after police say he attempted to set up a meeting with a 9-year-old with the intent of having sexual relations, police say.
HARTVILLE, Ohio - A group called “Predator Poachers” said there was an attempted child molestation case, according to a police press release.
The press release said the group contacted suspect Eric Grow, 52, of Hartville, on a social mediate site. The group had agreed to meet the Grow at the Hampton Inn, where Grow rented a room to have sexual relations with a 9-year-old, police say.Police executed a search warrant of the hotel room and Grow’s vehicle, where they found child pornography on Grow’s phone, according to the press release.Marion Police also reached out to Hartville Police, who obtained a warrant to search Grow’s home.Copyright 2024 WOIO.
