The man is accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend after forcing his way into her home Thursday.
Police in Cumberland County arrested a Harrisburg man after they say he forcefully entered his ex-girlfriend’s house and beat her new boyfriend on Thursday just before midnight.
Ryan Dawson, 43, came to the home on the 1200 block of Kelton Road in Lower Allen Township and started banging on the front door before damaging a window screen and going into the backyard, according to a police report. Then, Dawson found an unlocked door – being held shut by the new boyfriend – which he forced open, punching the other man, causing bruising, swelling and lacerations to his face, police say.
Dawson was booked into the Cumberland County Prison and was unable to post his $10,000 bail, according to court documents.
