The Tommy Lee Royce actor has whipped up excitement with just days to the final episode
It's just days away now to the Happy Valley finale on Sunday, and excitement is building as fans wait to find out what will happen to Sergeant Catherine Cawood and her clan and escaped psychopath Tommy Lee Royce. Another major loose end to tie up in the last ever episode is the pressing matter of abused wife Joanna Hepworth, whose body was discovered in a suitcase with her husband framed for her murder by chemist Faisal Bhatti.
Fans were delivered a cliffhanger as Tommy, who has been crowned 'TV's sexiest psychopath by viewers', contacted Ryan via their games consoles and asked him to join him in starting a new life in Spain together. Actor James Norton, who has played vile Tommy since the series launched in 2014, shared a dramatically teasing trailer released by the BBC on his Instagram.
The star captioned it with just six words, saying: "Happy Valley. The finale. That’s all." Comedy legend Jennifer Saunders told him: "Can’t bloody wait!" Instagram Fans are trying to work out what it can all mean from a trailer that is just 16 seconds long. One of the scenes shows Ryan being questioned by police about when he last had contact with Tommy.
