Commissioners Sherri Chippo, John Gaspich, Jr. and Silcox – who were elected or re-elected in November to four-year terms – were sworn in Monday by Magisterial District Judge Kathryn Silcox. Also sworn in were tax collector Alex Huber and constable Brock Warner, who were also elected to four-year terms, a press release said.
“Commissioner Thomas has helped guide Hampden Township’s growth over the past four decades to become a first-class township in every aspect,” Silcox said. “Thanks to his leadership, Hampden Township has the lowest tax rates of any Central Pennsylvania community yet still offers our residents the most amenities.”
