Hundreds of families braved the cooler temperatures to enjoy 'Halloween on Queen' in downtown Sault Ste. Marie. Business owners handed out candy, haunted houses provided spooky entertainment, and various activities and entertainment were available throughout the day.

The downtown core was bustling this afternoon as hundreds of young families braved the cooler temperatures to enjoy this year's 'Halloween on Queen.'

Hosted by the Downtown Association Sault Ste. Marie, dozens of business owners along Queen Street opened their storefronts and handed out candy to trick-or-treaters of all ages between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. A pair of haunted houses provided some spooky entertainment at the museum and the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site.

The March Street Stage featured magic by Ryan McFarling, while the Witches of Superior will provided Halloween-themed and dancing and music.Queen Street between Pim and Dennis is closed throughout the duration of the event.
