In 2003 the provincial government provided workplace injury insurance for bladder, brain, colorectal and kidney cancer, leukemia and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and in 2022 the list of presumptive cancers was expanded to include esophageal, lung, testicular, ureter, breast, multiple myeloma, prostate, skin, ovarian, cervical, penile, thyroid, and pancreatic cancer.
