Hail could range from golf ball to tennis ball sized with damaging winds
Trying to find the positive in today’s forecast is tough - it’s pretty gross outside. We have smoke that has moved in from Central America that is causing a haze across the city. Temperatures are climbing to the lower-90s. With the high humidity our heat index will range from 98-103° this afternoon. The mosquitos are also very active.Tonight’s Forecast:
Tonight we have a severe weather threat. Between 10pm and 2am a cold front moves through SE Texas. This front brings a severe weather threat specifically for large hail, so if you can park your car in a garage or under covered parking tonight I would certainly recommend that. The greatest threat for severe storms is north of I-10.10pm storms moving into SE TexasWhile Friday is still warm, the humidity will be lower. You’ll notice this most Saturday morning as we start the day in the 60s.
