Still, even after a year of good driving, Fieri wasn’t about to unceremoniously toss over the keys to something more cool. He made Ryder work for it, again. The TV host sent his son on an elaborate scavenger hunt around their ranch property in Northern California, with clues hidden in various places on the grounds.
When the final clue was revealed the youngest Fieri was awarded with his older brother Hunter’s crew-cab pick-up, a truck he’d been eye-ing for awhile. “We had taken the truck from Hunter, taken it to the detail shop, had it all gone through and made it Ryder’s truck, and a couple of my buddies come driving up the driveway and honked the horn,” said Fieri. “He lost it. I’ve never seen him happier about a gift he was getting.”
