Gunshots caught on chilling doorbell footage in Greenock street after dad 'shot dead'
Doorbell footage has emerged of gunshots ringing out on a Greenock street after a man was reportedly shot dead on Tuesday morning.
Neil Wilson was found seriously injured at a house on Nairn Road at around 1.15am on Tuesday morning. The 37-year-old was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, but died a short time later. Chilling Ring doorbell footage from a nearby street captured the moment the dad-of-three was gunned down.We told yesterday how relatives of the victim were seen screaming in the street as forensic officers and police set up a cordon.
An underworld source told the Record the 'shooter' was then seen fleeing the scene on an electric scooter."The scooters are obviously small and very fast, and the area is like a rabbit warren with loads of lanes and staircases connecting the streets.
