Guardians recall Angel Martinez and start him in center field on Thursday against the White Sox.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The moves keep coming as the Guardians try to go into the All-Star break with a strong finishing kick to protect their lead in the AL Central.
Manager Stephen Vogt calls Sandlin “The Pacifier” for his ability to calm dangerous situations in games. The switch-hitting Martinez is making his second trip to Cleveland this season. He’ll be making his first start in center field today against Chicago.
