I still have more to do and a lot of knowledge of the sport.’ That's when I decided to coach. I wanted to give back to my community.”
“There was no girls' hockey here 20 years ago. The closest minor hockey we had was a half-hour away. Girls today only have to drive five minutes to the rink. It's a dream come true.” For Gould, giving girls the chance to learn and play in their community where they feel comfortable with people they feel comfortable around is what it’s all about.
