The NBA announced an investigation into a social media post in which Grizzlies star Ja Morant appeared to flash a gun.
The video was posted after the Grizzlies’ road loss to the Denver Nuggets Friday night. NBA spokesperson Mike Bass said on Saturday that the league is aware of the post and has started an investigation.Sign up for NECN newsletters.
Morant released a statement later on Saturday saying he takes “full responsibility for my actions last night.” More Morant: “I’m going to take some time away to get help and work on learning better methods of dealing with stress and my overall well-being.”
