I shouldn’t be up here,” she began before quickly turning emotional. “I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean. Yet you all come to us young people for hope.
How dare you? You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words and yet, I am one of the lucky ones. People are suffering.”magazine’s Person of the Year earlier this month. She was even nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. But she’s also beenby the President of the United States — a grown man in his seventies — because he has achieved none of those things. He doesn’t take her seriously, he pretends global warming doesn’t exist, and he bullies her cruelly any chance he gets.
