Snowfall amounts vary from 30 to 45 centimetres in Ladysmith to a dusting on roads in Greater Victoria.
Greater Victoria got just a light dusting of the snow that hit from the Malahat north overnight Wednesday.
Gaetz says the Lake Cowichan area and inland got about 10 to 15 centimetres of snow, the Malahat region about five to seven centimetres, and there are varying amounts in the capital region, from a few centimetres of snow on Bear Mountain in Langford to almost nothing in Victoria, where roads are mostly bare and dry.
