So what's in store for the rest of today and Christmas Day? Well, the likelihood of a flurry of the white stuff is pretty low, Met Office forecasters say. The Met Office adds: "Sunshine and blustery showers continue through Christmas Day, with a more organised band of rain arriving from the west later, perhaps becoming wintry in the very far north. Feeling mild. Maximum temperature 9C."
