For the first time since Sept. 1, all Greater Cleveland counties are yellow, or designated as having medium COVID-19 transmission on the latest U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention map.

Overall, 45 Ohio counties were classified yellow, and 40 were classified green, for low COVID-19 transmission.

Counties are classified as low , medium or high under the CDC’s system for estimating the risk of COVID-19 infection. The new CDC color-coded designations were introduced on Feb. 25. In early March, all of Ohio’s counties were green or yellow; none were red.Geauga County: Yellow Summit County: Yellow Geauga County: Yellow Summit County: Yellow
