The body of missing man, Jamie Scott, was found in farmland after he disappeared following a night out
The 53-year-old was last seen over the weekend after he went out for a drink in Hull on December 17. Hull Live reports that he was seen twice on his walk home from a pub.
Jamie never returned home and did not arrive to pick up his beloved dog Jasper - which was very out of character. Following this unusual behaviour, the family launched an appeal on social media the next day. "Jamie was reported missing after he had not been seen since he had left a public house in Beverley on Saturday December 17. It is thought that he had tried to make his way home and sadly succumbed to the weather conditions over the weekend.
"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, from my mother-in-law who has lost her brother and not on any social media she is blown away with how fast news spreads and the generosity from people willing to help who don’t even know us. Again thank you."
