OK then, with these conferences, what were the important announcements? Which are likely to be game-changing for the AI space?: “Just a few years ago, artificial intelligence was largely relegated to universities and research labs, a charming computer science concept with little use in mainstream business. Today, AI is being integrated into everything from your refrigerator to your favorite workout app.
Oh, and yes, Microsoft is continuing to bolster its Office franchise with AI. “Microsoft’s announcements at Build — its new natural language processing grammar tool, Ideas in Word, and an updated version of its Outlook task simplifier, Actionable Insights — are the latest examples of how AI is streamlining workflows and making people’s lives easier," said Sudheesh Nair, who is the CEO of.
