‘God of War’ will get a TV series.
series for its Prime Video streaming service. The show will be produced by Rafe Judkins, who previously worked on Amazon’s series has been an ongoing franchise for PlayStation since 2005. Although the stories differ and evolve, they all follow a Spartan warrior named Kratos on extremely bloody quests for revenge; he often battles the various gods of ancient Greece.
The series follows Kratos, the God of War, who, after exiling himself from his blood-soaked past in ancient Greece, hangs up his weapons forever in the Norse realm of Midgard. When his beloved wife dies, Kratos sets off on a dangerous journey with his estranged son to spread her ashes from the highest peak — his wife's final wish.
