The actor who played Tyr in God of War: Ragnarök has reportedly said it 'isn’t the last you’ve seen' of the character.
The show will follow the events of 2018’s God of War series reboot, which centres on father and son protagonists Kratos and Atreus and is one of PlayStation’s biggest hits with some 23 million sales.“We think it's going to be huge”, says Amazon Studios' head of television
The character of Tyr doesn’t make an appearance in the 2018 game, but he’s referenced in it, and the recent TV adaptation of The Last of Us has shown that PlayStation Productions has no qualms with expanding the source material’s storyline with further exposition and flashbacks.
