Stations have been unable to open due to the failure.

A partial service got underway on the Inner Circle between Shields Road to St Enoch with both stations as well as West Street and Bridge Street able to open around 7.14am.A spokesperson for Glasgow Subway said: "Apologies all, Subway services on both circles currently suspended due to a power failure in the system. Unable to get staff train in so no stations are open at the moment. We are urgently working to get fixed and will update when we can. Apologies for the inconvenience.
