Work is being carried out to install new pipes
Scottish Water is installing a seven-mile system of new pipes to connect Glasgow's water area network with Ayrshire, known as the Glasgow Resilience Project.
To allow for this, a section of Parkhouse Road , near the junction with Salterland Road, will be closed to vehicles from March 13 for five days.The new water main is being installed in the Ibrox, Mosspark, Pollok, Priesthill, Nitshill and Parkhouse areas of Glasgow and aims to increase resilience and protect supplies for about one million customers.
