Shawarma King was once again in the running for the top spot at this year’s British Kebab AwardsIn a post on Facebook last night, the team shared a video from the moment they were crowned winners again at a ceremony in London.A caption read: “It’s crazy really.
“We are just a wee kebab shop and to see the response that we have had over the last year to our wraps has been nothing short of astounding.from us, time and time again over the last year. “People have been coming from all over the place to try out our wraps. Telling us exactly what it is that makes their kebabs the best of the best after last year’s win, Elliott Summers, social media and marketing manager for the King Street shop, said: “It’s all about freshness and high-quality ingredients for us.“For the meat, they layer and marinate it deeply for a couple of days before putting it up.
“It takes around two hours to actually make the shawarma which they built up into a massive tower and then cut into shape.Share
