An array of charities and organisations are accepting food donations for the festive period
Christmas is fast approaching, and with the cost of living crisis continuing those who can might be thinking of how to help others in need.
Meadowpark Centre Based in Dennistoun, the Meadowpark Centre has been helping locals for more than 40 years. This year, they’re looking to reach as many people as possible. Meadowpark Centre is looking for contributions in the form of dried food, canned foods, cereals and baby food/products - among other things.Glasgow Baby Food Bank This Glasgow charity decided to put aside their Christmas drive, to focus on baby formula donations.
This year, the charity has created a shopping list of items that they are in need of to help create their Christmas parcels. This includes tinned meats, boxed cakes, toiletries, ‘fancy’ biscuits, and much more.Drumchapel Food Bank Providing food packages year long, the Drumchapel Food Bank will be experiencing high volumes of visitors over December.
