A report has found that Glaswegians have the lowest life expectancy in the UK
A report has found that the life expectancy of Glaswegians is 76 whilst people in Hampstead, North London, live until the age of 88.
The report found the massive gap between regions were ‘entirely preventable’ and only getting worse, as the life expectancy gap has grown by two years over the last two decades. Health Equals are now calling on the Government to step in and reduce the life expectancy gap by establishing more green spaces, better transport links and better housing.
