Glasgow Airport has issued a statement after it was announced Border Force staff will go on strike later this month.
Staff will go on strike for eight days after the Public and Commercial Services Union opened a strike ballot to members last month.
Industrial action is taking place because of a dispute over pay, pensions, jobs, and redundancy terms and will see Border Force staff will go on strike at Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, and Cardiff airport from December 23 until December 31.READ MORE:Bosses at Glasgow Airport said they are aware of the proposed strikes and will be working with Border Force to ensure there is minimal disruption to passengers.
A spokesperson for Glasgow Airport said:"We are aware of the proposed industrial action and are liaising with Border Force to understand their contingency plans and to ensure any disruption is minimal."
