Gisele Bündchen channels her ‘Devil Wears Prada’ role in a new Balmain campaign
, Gisele Bündchen, 43, has returned for a second round — and this time, she’s showing off something a bit more subdued.
According to a press release, Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, felt Bündchen was the perfect fit for the gig, partly due to her résumé, which includes a small role in “The Devil Wears Prada.” “Deciding on the spirit, focus, attitude and star of the spring campaign was just as easy: Gisele. Of course, it had to be Rafael’s compatriot, Gisele Bündchen,” wrote Rousteing, noting that it wasn’t just the model’s “amazing personality” and “breathtaking beauty” that made it the ideal match.
