Below are the Chronicle's weekly Houston high school girls basketball power rankings. Rankings are based on overall and recent performances, quality wins, strength of schedule and team accomplishments.The Bulldogs took a hard-fought win over talented C.E. King, 48-40, on Wednesday before rolling past rival Atascocita, 73-23, on Saturday.The Mustangs finally began their SPC schedule after a grueling nonconference slate. Houston Christian won each of its three games by no less than 48 points.
