Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro says he is working to combat the rising use of ghost guns as crime spikes in the city of Philadelphia.

There has been a rise in the recovery of ghost guns in 2021, according to Philadelphia police. FOX 29's Jeff Cole sits down with District Attorney Josh Shapiro about the rising problem.The spike in gun violence during the pandemic has unnerved residents, elected officials and community leaders alike, but the concern is growing over firearms described as ghosts.

Shapiro is concerned about the growing threat because ghost guns are untraceable and sold online in kits that do not require a criminal background check to purchase.
