“As the day went on, more and more opening night gifts started coming in,” she said of the big day. A highlight was an “Inez Milholland prayer candle” someone sent. Dassonville and Cruz selected a gown by Nardos, jewels by Stephanie Gottlieb, shoes by SJP Collection and a clutch from Nina for the look. The stylist assisted Cruz in navigating the theater in a long gown, “making sure my train doesn’t drag while running from place to place.”
