For most people, including myself, working from home has become the new normal. In the two weeks since the shelter-in-place order was issued in New York, my usual morning commute from Brooklyn to Lower Manhattan has become a much shorter journey from my bed to the couch. Though adjusting tohas been challenging, I have come to realize that maintaining some semblance of a routine has been helpful.
One of the ways I have re-established a sense of normalcy in my life has been by getting dressed every morning. Initially, the thought of waking up, showering, and putting on clothes, only to go sit on my couch, was daunting. And honestly, did not seem practical.
