“Black Mona Lisa Volume I”“It’s a dream come true,” Porter said in a telephone interview a few weeks before the tour launched on April 29. “When I was growing up, I wanted to be the male Whitney Houston. My acting career and stage career kicked off first and now, in terms of the music industry, I’m getting ready to get on the road.
Naturally, the fashion icon spent a lot of time on the clothes he wears in the show. At the time of the interview, he was just getting started on that part of the show, and so he didn’t know yet what he was going to wear.
