Non-profit dance group’s yearly classes will kick off on Sept. 19 for dancers aged 6 to 18.

A creative dance non-profit group in Burnaby is reopening its doors this month for kids and youth eager to groove.

The not-for-profit organization has been operating in Burnaby for over 33 years now. Last year, the studio’s artistic director, Chris LePage told the NOW that he was thrilled to bring back the kids to the studio after years of online classes. Beginners can enrol in modern 1, which focuses on the core concepts of dance: space, time, energy and technique — this is for all newcomers lacing up their dancing shoes for the first time.Meanwhile, modern 2 is geared more towards dancers with more experience, and will continue to explore concepts of dance and provide a stronger focus on technique.
