The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified a truck driver killed in a crash on Interstate 459 in Irondale as Sherman Louis Mann. He was 56 and lived in Dallas, Georgia. The crash happened about 8 a.m. Thursday.
Irondale Assistant Fire Chief Brad Doss said the tractor, which did not have a trailer attached, left the roadway, and went down a ravine.
