Santos responded in a now-deleted tweet, leveling several accusation against D’Esposito. He said that the congressman, who is a former police officer, “lost his NYPD issued GUN while he was DJing at a party” and assaulted a 72-year-old woman.LaLota quickly came to D’Esposito’s defense, calling Santos a “terrible person.”
George Santos has disgraced Holocaust victims, 9-11 victims, military veterans with PTSD and many more. Now he’s taking aim at a House Republican who served the NYPD with honor. Santos is a terrible person and should be thrown out of the Republican conference & Congress ASAP.
