49ers star tight end George Kittle addressed the ongoing Brand Aiyuk contract dispute.
Much of the conversation around the San Francisco 49ers this offseason has been about the contract status of star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Aiyuk believes that he deserves to be paid like an elite wide receiver in the NFL, while the 49ers don't share the same belief. This has led to many speculating that Aiyuk could either ask out of San Francisco or the 49ers could move him.
''I actually go out of my way to not talk to anybody going through contract negotiations, so when people ask me questions, I'm like: I have absolutely no idea,' Kittle continued. 'But I'm not concerned about it. Aiyuk's a phenomenal football player who's a big part of our offense, and he's one of the most complete receivers that I've ever played with. So I'm gonna assume that Aiyuk's gonna be on our team by the time the season starts.
