The George Allen Kelly case has been drawing attention since the end of January after a Mexican citizen was shot dead on his property.
TUCSON, Ariz. — This afternoon the arraignment was held for George Allen Kelly. He's a rancher just outside the border in Nogales who’s accused of shooting and killing a Mexican citizen found dead on his property.Kelly was released from jail on Feb. 23 on a million-dollar bond. During today’s arraignment, his attorney Brenna Larkin requested for the case to not move to trial.She said she’d like for the defense to have more time to continue investigations.
The big difference between first and second-degree murder is premeditation, according to the Shouse Arizona Law Group.
