The Ottawa Senators are determined to turn the corner once the puck is dropped for real on the NHL season.With only one exhibition game remaining, the Senators wrapped up a three-game, six-day road trip with a 3-0 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night at the Canada Life Centre.
One area that is shaping up nicely is in the net with the season set to start Wednesday against the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh. Bailey has struggled mightily to make himself noticeable on his pro tryout, but he did score his first of the preseason with 2:34 left in the second to give the club the two-goal advantage.
