On Star Wars Night, the Galaxy took another step further away from being a decent team this season.
With just one win in the first nine games entering Saturday, the start of a three-game home stretch was potentially a way to reignite the sluggish opener to the season.
Cabral was signed by the Galaxy in 2021 as a young Designated Player and with that tag, he never produced what fans expected, scoring just six goals with five assists in 61 appearances. In the off-season, the Galaxy traded Cabral to the Rapids for $1 million in allocation money. Toward the end of last season, the fans were booing Cabral on every touch and miscue.
