Galaxy coach Greg Vanney sees his team allow three San Jose goals in what he calls an “embarrassing” opening half before rallying to within one in a 3-2 defeat to its California Clasico rival.
CARSON — The Galaxy had another chance to find a level of consistency, but in the end, it was another opportunity lost.
“I actually thought we got off to a good start, then we commit a silly penalty, clumsy and then off the kickoff in less than 60 seconds, we give a second one back,” Galaxy coach Greg Vanney said. “It’s embarrassing.” “If we play with the right intensity, right intentions and we move together, we created enough to get back into the game and see something out of it,” Vanney said.
