Gabby Petito died from strangulation, Teton County, Wyoming, coroner Dr. Brent Blue said Tuesday. He also said that the manner of her death was a homicide and his office estimated that Petito, 22, died three to four weeks before her body was found.

Blue also said his office estimated that Petito died three to four weeks before her body was found. On September 21, Blue confirmed that a body found near Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park was Petito's. The body was first discovered by investigators on September 19.

Wyoming's Teton County coroner said Tuesday that Gabby Petito died from strangulation. Above, on September 26 a memorial poster of Petito hangs on a fence across the street from the funeral home where a memorial service was held in Holbrook, New York.
