You could get 48 days holiday by only using 19 days annual leave
Who'd have thought by the end of the week it'll be January, this year really does seem to have flown by.
If you're quick, you could even bag yourself extra time off work by using these holidays to your advantage. This year, we were able to enjoy two extra bank holidays, one for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June and another for her state funeral in September, reports the Manchester Evening News. Next year, we've been granted an extra bank holiday for the King's coronation in May. Also, New Year's Day falls on a Sunday this year meaning we kick off 2023 with a bank holiday on January 2.
This would mean if you take May 2 to May 5 off you could then be off on Saturday, Sunday and the following Monday , for the King's coronation. This would bag a worker another 10 days off by only using four days' leave.
