Companies have been quick to buy and lease in Deer Valley to be near Taiwan Semiconductor. That includes 80 acres of auctioned state trust land.
Sunbelt Investment Holdings Inc. bought 80 acres of state trust land in north Phoenix as the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.’s plant going up near Interstate 17 and Loop 303 continues to fuel development.
Businesses in the semiconductor industry have inquired about leasing space in the first three buildings underway, Mark Krison, a broker at CBRE, said. Once those buildings are completed, Sunbelt will begin work on the second phase on that side of the development. REA Development, a Colorado-based developer, bought 75 acres of land in the area after learning about TSMC’s location, Sayre said. That development already has two companies looking to lease the space.is developing its facility at Seventh Avenue and Alameda Road.
