'Everything Christmas' is being released on November 10
ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — If you asked Jim Lester a few years ago about being in a movie, he probably would have chuckled.Lester, a St. John's farmer, is set to make his debut in a Hallmark movie next month.
Lester’s Farm chalet, located on Pearltown Road. The chalet also played a crucial role. Jim Lester explained,"They had converted the chalet to a specific scene within the movie." — Cameron Kilfoy/The TelegramNewfoundland's talent, unique landscapes, and government programs make it an ideal destination for filmmakers, said Lester.It was early 2022 when Lester received a call from Hallmark's production company, and they had a special request.
Their role in the movie was more than a cameo. On set, Mike and Molly's behaviour was nothing short of inspiring, said Lester. “We've also had our sheep on the Hudson and Rex production, and turkeys just went to another local production.”“I'm good when it comes to speaking to people, and I love telling people about the farm and farm life,” he said.
