From Dusk ‘Till Dawn star Danny Trejo recalls a charming moment of familiarity with costar George Clooney in an interview. The two starred in the film alongside Harvey Keitel, Salma Hayek, Juliette Lewis, Ernest Liu, and Quentin Tarantino, who also wrote the film, which was directed by Robert Rodriguez. From Dusk ‘Till Dawn opened to mixed reviews and was a financial success at the box office.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY While breaking down his most iconic roles for GQ, Danny Trejo recalled a heartwarming reunion with From Dusk ‘Till Dawn costar George Clooney. The moment came when Trejo went to the premiere of Up in the Air. In the GQ interview, Trejo said that Clooney was unbelievable and called him over during his Up in the Air premiere to exclaim that Trejo was in his first movie.
Before becoming a household name, Clooney appeared in TV shows such as The Facts of Life, Roseanne, Sisters and ER. In the same ET interview, Clooney joked that, while he struggled, he was still working consistently for 12 years. He also joked that, in ER, he had it easy, playing a pediatrician, not having to remember ten-dollar words for the part.
It’s heartwarming to see that Clooney’s bought his humility with him throughout the years, even as his movies have collectively made $3 billion at the box office. While it seems he’s more selective about his roles recently, he’s still on everyone's radar. With Trejo recently recalling their charming From Dusk 'Till Dawn reunion, it’d be nice to see them share another.
