Pierson said public safety is a top priority for him and city council members. “I intend to be deliberate in the search for Frisco’s next fire chief to make sure we find the right person to lead our department to the next level of service, building upon the city’s reputation for excellence.”, was selected from among 101 candidates during a three-month search replacing Mack Borchardt, who became assistant to the city manager after 30 years as the city’s fire chief.
