Officers were called Saturday evening to a possible shooting at the fair, located in the 9200 block of John W. Elliott Drive, police have said. The event, organized byIn a tweet Sunday afternoon, Frisco police said there were social media posts “inaccurately reporting an incident at the Frisco Fair.” Although there were no “known gunshot victims,” officers were called about “multiple disturbances” at the fair, the department tweeted.

City officials said in a Monday news release they assessed events that occurred Saturday and deemed the Frisco Fair poses “an unreasonable danger to the health or safety of the organizer, other users of the venue, City employees or the public,” citing a portion of the city’s special events ordinance.
