The majority, 60%, anticipate that France will at least reach the semi-finals, with 15% predicting a victory. Furthermore, 81% expect France to at least reach the quarter-finals.

Lors d’un sondage ELABE-BFMTV-RMC"Opinion en direct", ces derniers affichent leur croyance dans 83% des amateurs de football se disent ainsi confiants quant aux performances sportives de l'équipe de France à la Coupe du monde. 17% se déclarent inquiets. 60% des Français pensent même que la France ira au moins en demi-finale, dont 15% pronostiquent la victoire finale . 81% les voient par ailleurs au moins atteindre les quarts-de-finale. Quand on s’intéresse aux opinions des amateurs de football, l’optimisme est même encore plus grand. 70% d'entre eux voient les Bleus atteindre au moins les demi-finales, et 23% les pronostiquent champions du monde.
et Ousmane Dembélé sont en tête du classement des joueurs préférés. N'Golo Kanté arrive en troisième position , devant Désiré Doué et Michael Olise .71% des Français ont une image positive de l'équipe de France, dont 17% une image très positive. 27% en ont une image négative.
Les amateurs de football sont 89% à avoir une image positive de l'équipe de France . L'image des Bleus est même plus favorable chez les jeunes générations: elle atteint 88% d'opinions positives chez les 18-24 ans, contre 72% chez les 35-49 ans et 63% chez les 65 ans et plus. Parmi les électorats, les électeurs d'Ensemble , du NFP et de LR sont les plus positifs.
Les électeurs du RN se distinguent par un jugement plus critique: 56% ont une image positive des Bleus, contre 44% une image négativeEnfin, cette étude d’opinion s’intéresse aussi à l’avenir. Et plus précisément à la suite à la tête des Bleus après Didier Deschamps. Sans surprise, 56% des Français souhaitent voir Zinédine Zidane succéder à DD à la tête de l'équipe de France à l'issue de la Coupe du monde.
Thierry Henry recueille 10%, loin devant Hervé Renard . 29% n'ont pas de préférence. Auprès des amateurs de football, 71% choisissent Zidane.
