Kelsey Grammer's Frasier reboot might be missing a lot of the original cast, but a joke from 1994 predicted it would happen. Here's how.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Paramount+'s upcoming Frasier revival won't feature most of the original cast, but the controversial decision actually pays off a joke the original series made way back in 1994. Like Kelsey Grammer's post-Cheers spin-off, 2023's Frasier's reboot is about change as the eminent psychiatrist moves back to Boston to face new challenges, form new relationships, and enter the third chapter of his life.
Grammer will be joined by new characters Alan Cornwall and Harvard university psych department head Olivia , while his nephew David , and son Freddy are boosted to main character status after appearing sporadically in the original. Some of the original Frasier cast will return as recurring characters, however, with best friend and producer Roz and ex-wife Lilith confirmed.
